Jason Momoa is the only actor to play "Aquaman". Robert Downey Jr. was the only actor to play "Ironman". "Batman" has been played by Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and Ben Affleck in films. Adam West played "Batman" on TV.
There have been over 13 movies featuring "Batman". With so many films featuring the "caped crusader" why did we need a new version of "The Batman."
The story features Robert Pattinson as "Bruce Wayne/Batman" . The film takes place in "Gotham City" which features corrupt people running the city. Though the stories and some of the characters changed the movie is a rehash of a tired old story that maybe ready to pack it in.
Robert Pattinson does an OK job playing Bruce Wayne/Batman. Paul Dano does a great job playing the creepy "The Riddler".
It seems like the creepy roles get actors Oscars too. Heath Ledger won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor playing "The Joker" in "The Dark Knight" and Joaquin Phoenix won the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role playing his version of "The Joker" in the movie of the same name.
Zoe Kravitz does an OK job playing "Selina Kyle/Catwoman". Personally it was nice to see all of the cats at her home. Reminded me of home.
The problem with "The Batman" is that is produced nothing new. More of the same. It was entertaining but more of the same.
If you want to see a movie about "Batman" the ones starring Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, or Michael Keaton are better.
